The ColorSplitter was designed to work with the Newtek Digiview Digitizer. The Digiview relies on producing colour video by digitizing the red, green and blue independantly of each other, then overlaying them. The colorsplitter replaces the plastic filters supplied with the Digiview by changing the hue of the incoming video.
